I voted yes too. But I thought he was killed during the first day of the war too. We won't ever know until we have a body and its not one of his doubles.

Difficult question, but I voted yes, as well. The reports came out and reported on all cable news networks, more than other issues with this war.

There is fairly high confidence, at least... that Saddam and his two sons were seen walking into the building to attend a meeting, apparently planning on what to do next.

I voted yes but only time will tell (hopefully). The devastation was pretty complete and focused. Who ever was in the building never knew what hit them for sure!

I voted yes but I do agree, we need a body to be 100% sure.

I agree, bfez... a body or some other proof to be 100% sure. It was reported last night that it was reduced to "just dust." However, looking at the pictures, it is more rubble, than dust.

Oops I voted no. My reasons for doing so is this... why would he be parading by motorcade in downtown Baghdad knowing we have all those special ops, troops etc in the area? Why would he put so many officials into one room? In other words guys, I find it hard to believe.

I voted yes. Just being optomistic. There is a lot of uncertanty, and I dont think we will know for sure untill they find some evidence.

I'm with you on this one. Knowing the way they work, I wouldn't put it past them to have sent in body doubles, knowing full well we would bomb the living crap out of them, while in the mean time, SH burrows underground like one of those Gophers in Caddyshack. I hope I'm wrong and all that's left of this man is his singed bug infested mustache, but my pessimistic nature says he has a complex tunnel system in place and has already used it to get outside Baghdad. To support this philosophy, I think his "escape" would have to had happened post Baghdad arrival, and his exit point would have had to have been to a remote airfield. There was a point in this War when we didn't have all the "bases" covered, and if he got out, it had to be then.
