Gosh -- http://www.courttv.com/ is a direct link to an article about the verdict and most of the site is nothing but the Peterson case.

I understand why the "outside investigative" juror was dismissed; now, as I find it, the former foreman was re-trying the case in deliberations...acting as a micro-manager, who insisted on rehashing evidence (those pieces of evidence were brought in on HIS request), being obstructionist, arguing against the remainder of the jury, etc.
Add that the foreman himself asked to be removed, along with the jury requesting the same thing...that should say enough.
And the "new" jury deliberated eight hours before sending in their message to the judge.
Good call, all the way around.

Do any one of "legal eagles" on this board know what happens to the house in Covina and Lacy's belongings now that Scott has been found guilty? Does the estate now revert to the Rocha family?
I also heard that the Peterson's borrowed money for Scott's defense and used the Covina house as collateral. Does this mean that if the Rocha's inherit, they will have to pay this lien?
