Very interesting -- her last two feedback comments are for items never received. One of them was for a boxing glove signed by Ali. Hmmmmm... I'm beginning to wonder if something's up.

They may have received them by now. She explained that the hurricanes caused trouble with shipping. That was a big problem for a lot of Ebayers this past season.

Hmm... I dunno. The Ali auction ended on 8/6 -- well before Charley, which didn't affect Fort Lauderdale. Shipping certainly wasn't shut down between Charley and mid-October. As for the other one, that was between storms, so I don't know.

But don't you think it's funny that the same person selling the Ali glove also has the Virgin Mary sandwich? And I would think that "a Hand signed In-person everlast Boxing glove signed by the Great one himself Muhammad Ali" would fetch more than $60.

I smell a rat.

I am Catholic and fully believe in God and Jesus and the Virgin Mary, but this is way out of line. The sandwich is TEN YEARS OLD, for Pete's sake! As for how it has stayed non-moldy for that long, someone tell me. And the face on the sandwich doesn't look that much like the images and statuettes I've seen of the Virgin Mary (and I've seen many), unless this sandwich is supposed to portray Mary as a child, because the figure looks like a five-year-old girl to me.

Just my opinion though. I am Catholic and who knows?
