I love the scent of real trees. I've had artificial trees in the past and the good thing about them is that you can have the tree and decorations up longer, you can use heavier ornaments and you don't have a fight with your significant other as to when you're getting the real one

Real trees. Nothing beats trudging through 3 feet of snow, finding a tree, cutting it down, and putting it in your home. It makes the whole house smell great as well. The needles are just a minor inconvenience for me...
I wish we could count on snow every year, but cutting the tree is tradition for us, with or without snow. An artificial one just wouldn't be the same! When you cut a fresh tree the needles aren't usually much of an issue[/code]
