Going to see Sevendust (again) Wednesday night
1st annual Christmas Bash at the Plex sponsored by 98X in Charleston ...
(called the 98Xmas ball) ... I won tickets tonight at a karaoke show giving out tickets (first person to sing a Sevendust song wins tickets) .. LOL ... of course, I already had one filled out (Angel's Son) even before as a tribute to them ...
with Magna-Fi and Bobaflex (never heard of these two bands) with Sevendust headlining ...
This is the 2nd time that Sevendust has come to the Plex this year, and I was there at the 1st show, w/ Element Eighty and Ill Niño ... that show totally rocked and I expect this one to rock out no less ...

someone did a metal remake of "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins (awesome)
of course, a Perfect Circle's rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine"
and the Korn remakes
and Shinedown's version (acoustic) of "Simpleman" (Lynyrd Skynyrd)

The show was AWESOME!!! ... there were 4 BANDS there, and all 4 bands were awesome ...
I can't, for the life of me, remember the 1st band that was on-stage, but they were from Australia, Boboflex went out 2nd, and they were awesome. They put on a great stage show, and have a very unique style. Magna-Fi rocked out, even though, the lead singer/guitarist knocked his OWN tooth out on the first song ... he pulled the mic too close to his face, and KONK ... tooth came right out ... but they continued on ...
SEVENDUST ... well, what can I say ... awesome ...
They are in Jacksonville tonight (DEC 9th) (NC, not FL ... sorry, HG!!)

I always figured lindaloo listened to contemporary christian music and maybe some country on the side.
I like alternative rock mostly, country is my second choice. I do listen to R&B but mostly because I can't stand commercials (need constant musical stimulation). I enjoy oldies and classical music.

Are you ever off base. lol. I just saw Seether, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace and Collective Soul. I have seen Godsmack everytime they come to the coast including a month ago when they came with Metallica.
And kevin, I like country music. No rap for me though.

uh ... yes, he does ... and I almost blew out my voice one night performing "Fly From the Inside" ...
