Nina picked up something recently - cough, congestion, slight fever. She didn't miss school and it didn't keep her down long. That didn't stop her from checking her temp all the time. When it went up, it was over last weekend. She wanted a fever so she could miss school (one of my rules - fever, puking, strep, then you miss school, if not, you GO!).

I thought it would run thru our family but thankfully it didn't. She washed her hands a lot. Kept to her room when it was bad. And I used the heat setting on running dishes thru the washer (one of the things I do when one of us is sick, much to Jim's dismay, the tightwad of the family!).

Hope you're doing better Dennis. Man, after just finishing up this semester, getting great grades, then getting sick, and now the dog - I'm beginning to ask, what next for you? Wait, don't answer....I was thinking...blizzard?

Ya know Mary, NO MATTER what happens, I know it will get better, always has, always will  besides, these are only minor setbacks in the whole scheme of things, as I've always said, our Father NEVER gives us more than we can handle! And let's hope that the latter part is TRUE, I'd LOVE to see a blizzard here just before Christmas, maybe we'll actually get to see Rudolph!

Now that's the spirit Dennis. At least all of this happened before xmas!!! Get the flu bugs, etc. out of the way before the 25th!

Good to hear that Dennis.

I caught some sort of bug last month. It sucks, I know. I could barely swallow anything for like 5 days. I ate, but not as much as usual.

I personally was only down for an evening. Up right on time the next morning, but this cough is just now going away exactly two weeks later. I thought I was going to lose a lung there. My two youngest had a slight fever, but recovered quickly, as did my wife. The oldest daughter has a cough, but no where near like I did. And my son is doing just fine.
