I typed that phrase and links for Sidney Sheldon's book titled Best Laid Plans came up. I've read his books but not this one. They fit with this thread too - odd, huh? Mmm. Subliminal meaning I ask?
Must be doing something wrong.....Karan - don't feel bad. I do get the joke, er ah the pic but I think I'll search for something else.....like bunnies. Or chocolate cake. Or tea. Sorry, feeling in the mood here for a good ole Disney type movie.
LOL

Type the actual phrase with quotes when you type it in the search box, Mary. That way, you get hits with the exact phrase and not just any of the words.

duckie...I've had to explain it several times too.
Kelly - actually I meant when I typed in those words (but forgot to use quotation marks), a Sidney Sheldon book came up!!! He's deceased now but his books sort of fit this topic. On the trashy side!!! That's what I meant.....LOL It was just ironic that his book titled Best Laid Plans came up.
Yeah, I'm about ready to watch the Sound of Music or Mary Poppins!!! Or better yet, my fave Disney movie of all time - The Parent Trap! Sounds corny I know......okay, tease all you want everyone!!!
We rented Pulp Fiction years ago, after hearing how great that movie was. Well, I wanted to run out and rent a Disney movie after endurring that movie. Yikes - PF was not for me, not at all!!! I know it resurrected John Travolta's career and all, but wow, the car scene just about did me in!!! I don't think I looked at drive thru burgers/fries the same way again!

The Parent Trap rules!! Especially the classic one with Hayley *sigh* Mills.
Tarantino? Blech!! I agree with you, Mary. PF was trash, and I don't particularly like his other movies either. Why can't his characters have a bit more intelligent dialogue than just shouting the F world every other line? Aren't there other ways to describe a gun, a girl, the car, the suitcase, the guy's head, coffee, a ballpark, and so forth? I always joke that part of the problem is that QT was born in Tennessee and I feel that the only good thing to come out of TN was Amy Grant (JMO).

Shawn - oh Thank God someone agrees with me. I don't recall all the terms you mentioned but I remember the F word all the time. Funny how you said the F word and I did too. But now my kids say - the F Bomb!!! That must be the current way to describe THAT word!!! But mostly what I remember is how they ever so nonchalantly killed their 'assignment', just popping off the guy in the back seat, brains flew everywhere. Didn't a piece land in someone's hair, as he was eating a burger and fries? I nearly barfed when that scene rolled. And I began saying within 30 minutes, I don't like this movie....why did we rent it again.....ah, b/c everyone's talking about it. Yeah, they were talking about it alright!!!
I was referring to the original PT with Hayley! I loved her in The Trouble with Angels too.
