Yes that house was too clean. Or as I'd say Brent - it looked exactly like a new subdivision's model house. Hint - no one lives in a model house.
But I liked their teen daughter. And at least that mother cried b/c she was spending way too much time at work. The dad had hopes for changes too. This family left me feeling good.
The messy house didn't seem to have any hope (for clutter). This mom went right back to filling up that shower stall (neatly she said, I beg to differ on that too!). I think that house could have supplied the whole street with TP alone in an emergency!!!

LOL I was trying to remember how she phrased it. I'd say so BUT first the messy house family would have to spend a day finding stuff!
My closets are a little messy, I'm working on them. This morning I cleared out 6 kitchen cabinets, put down new shelf paper, recycled expired items, reorganized and now I'm ready for a power shop grocery run. Not bulk items though....LOL We don't have a walk in pantry but use one entire wall of K cabinets for canned/boxed foods.
See what that show did for me last night? Made me go thru my K cabinets!!! The fridge was a few days ago....long before this episode aired. What did you think of the messy house's fridge door? Wow, there would be no room for dirty fingerprints....maybe that was the idea of posting 100+ photos?

I think the sink was being used to store toilet paper.

She was a puzzle wasn't she? Clipped coupons, bought on sale items in bulk.
And then bought cheap paper plates! Used them for every meal! Crazy!!! What did her family do for cereal - did they use plastic, disposable bowls?
When her traded husband was trying to explain she could buy an inexpensive set of dishes for a fraction of what she's spending on paper plates, you could tell he wanted to say Corelle but there probably wans't one piece of Corelle in his upscale kitchen!!! At least that's where my mind was going...run out to Wal-Mart or KMart and buy a set of Corelle!
Silly woman!
What was up with sorting thru her coupons on the floor at the register at the grocery? I imagine half or more are exspired anyway!!!
Good one on finding the kitchen. It's a wonder that family didn't get food poisoning. That kitchen wasn't filthy but it sure didn't look clean either!
