Essay Errors

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Mon Jan 24, 2005 12:57 pm

When I was in 3rd grade, I was in a resource class with 7 other students. We all had to write an essay on how to make a pizza. I wrote mine and got a good grade on it, despite a few errors.

My resource teacher picked up another essay from one of the students, read it silently to check for any mistakes, and she found so much, she read almost the entire essay in front of class!

How to make a pizza: First, you take out the pizza dough. AND you flaten it out with a rolling pin. AND you pour pizza sauce over it. AND you pour shredded cheese on top of it. AND you put in pepperoni. AND you put in sausages. AND you bake it in the oven until the cheese melts. AND you take it out. AND you cut the pizza in 8 slices. AND...

I tried to keep a straight face, but snickered a little bit. I didn't wanna know the rest. I've heard of messy essays, but this one tops 'em all!

I can write essays, but only if it's an appropriate topic for me.
