Anyone watch the Discovery Channel the other night?

Just curious, how many watched the Discovery Channel Sunday night? I did, a series on Volcanoes and this coming Sunday, "Pompeii"......I'm telling ya, that series is down right scary, Yellowstone, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainer

I've seen both the Pompeii and Herculaneum shows...the Italians still haven't got it, as the evac procedures are non-existent.

Did not see last sundays but will next sunday.Here I am scary of 1 volcanoe,Souffiere at Monserrat.

I watched the Yellowstone one!! Pretty spooky. I've known about Raineer for years- it's a family joke that my mom wants to be on the mountain when it blows. (sick, I know)

I watched the Yellowstone one but flipped around and saw the other one on too. How ironic they'd both air at the same time! I saw a few reenacted scenes from Pompeii....they were enough for me to gasp.

The Yellowstone one was fascinating. What I took away from it is if it blows there is absolutely no way we can prepare for it. If Yellowstone goes, the entire planet would be affected, in many ways. You might as well just go on about your business, hoping it won't go. It was a very sobering thought it could go in our lifetimes though.

Yellowstone will erupt one day... I just hope it's after I'm gone, because it won't be pretty. It'll make the 1980 St. Helens eruption look like a cakewalk.
