Yes Bill I understand and appreciate your dilemma. Life is precious, though, and we're all hoping you find a path that allows you and Annabelle plenty of good times and smiles along the way.

I pulled into the restaurant parking lot the other day where I made the last call to you quite a while ago...it reminded me I need to do that again one of these days.

Take care, as always.

If I really do have one regret, it is that I did not finish my college degree. It has held me back in my job over the years. I am not saying I have been unhappy in my job because of it, but that I would be making much more(if I had a job) now than I was when I had a job. I really enjoy the hands on type of design work I do as opposed to the paper shuffler, glad handing to obtain projects, type of work many engineers with a degree and PE must do.

I do believe...

I do believe that the regrets suggested by virtually all of you have, in many ways, made you who you are today...and better human beings as well.

Sometimes it is as simple as recognizing that we can not always change everything that comes at us in life..but we can change how we react to it.

Obviously many of you have done just that!

I couldn't agree more Azskyman! The old saying "That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger" is appropriate. We all have made decisions in life that we regret. It's in how we learn from those mistakes that shapes and molds us into what we are now and what we will become in the future. The hardest thing for me over the last few years is watching my children grow up and make their own mistakes. It's hard as a parent to let go enough to allow them the opportunity to grow the way we all must. You try to give them the skills to navigate through life but in the end they have to pilot their own ship. We've tried to also teach them that they always have God as a co-pilot and a safe refuge here at home. In spite of us they're doing pretty good so far! ;-)

Amen to that brother...I almost had to superglue my lips shut this past weekend! It is very hard to watch others make mistakes which we, ourselves, know will lead to sadness and disappintment.
