Prayers needed!!!

Ny mom has succombed to the flu today. She broke a fever, and ended up having to stay home from work. If it wasn't for that flu shot shortage, she would've gotten hers, but no, they had to wait until checking the vaccine supply and then tell her they're running short. By the time more vaccine is issued in hospitals, it was too late. :( Just unbelieveable.

Please pray for my mom's health to recover. Much appreciated.

Also, I thought most states (at least I know NC has) received more flu shot vaccine serum since the early-on shortage in the autumn.

They have lifted the restrictions in my area, maybe all of Florida, but I'm not sure. The trick now is finding it. Not sure it would do any good at this point anyway, since I understand it takes 4-6 weeks for the vaccine to take hold, and by then, flu season is just about over.

Here's prayers for mom and her bout with the flu. No flu shot for me this year either...seems a shame we were put at risk...and now some places have more vaccine than they can give away.

Hope she feels better soon. Get her up and about so that pneumonia is not the next challenge she faces.

Well, here's some good news, and bad news, the good news is my mom is not coughing as much and her fever has disappeared. The bad news is her appetite's still sour.
