I don't agree with the insanity defense as it is used and/or written nowdays, but the woman had to be TOTALLY INSANE to do anything like this!!

I do not agree with it either. Nor do I think that people who commit heinous crimes under the influence of a self administered substance be shown any leinlency at all by the courts. When you partake of a drug voluntarily you remain responsible for your actions.

Very true. People know the dangers and risks associated with the use of such substances. If they still choose to use it, well, they can't be considered completely immune from blame.
