Mark Suddeth is going to be calling in shortly!!! hurricane chaser!Sean Ash will be on Severe WEather Central tonight!Sean Ash joined WISH-TV News 8 in February of 2000 as a weekend morning meteorologist. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Sean graduated from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Atmospheric Sciences and an A.S. in Meteorological Technology.

Sean began his broadcasting career as a weekend morning and evening meteorologist at WTVC in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Sean has been a member of the National Weather Association since July of 1999 and he was awarded the National Weather Service Seal of Approval in March of 2000.

Severe weather is the reason why Sean became a meteorologist. Along with fellow Forecast 8 meteorologist Steve Bray, he tracked the phenomenal September 20th tornadoes in 2002. This turned out to be the most destructive outbreak of tornadoes since 1974 & second longest tornado track at 112 miles.
