Ed, it must be a Pennsylvania thing. My dog and both cats have been neutered but my dog "humps" my cat all the time. He's very particular - he doen't bother both cats he has his favorite and he doesn't experiment with legs either.

My cat, Mac "humps" my other cat Gipper and they're both neutered males.

Our dog, Rudy, loves to hump Marty's arm.

Our pets are a bunch of characters, aren't they?

Before the male cats were fixed, Smokey was humping Allegria a.k.a. Jason.

Smokey is finally wanting to get with the female cats, but it was too late after they got fixed.

It amazes me that my dog is so picky and just "likes" the one cat. By the way (and this is really sick) the cat (Obie) seems to enjoy it!!!!!!!!!!

I have a dachshund who makes a wookie noise. It is the funniest thing you will ever hear. She sounds just like a wookie.

Then I have a cat who falls asleep around my head. My boyfriend thinks it is the most disgunting thing he has ever seen. I think he is just jealous I get so much cat love.

My cat Gipper does that sometimes. I think of myself as Davey Crockett.

The Chica Pet (10 year old shepherd mix) has a penchant for ripe jalapeno peppers. She trolls carefully through the garden every morning and if she finds a red one she triumphantly carries it into the house, shows it off, and munches down.

Now let a roach or a snake come into the house and she totally ignores it.

By wookie, we are referring to Chewy from SW, correct? If so, my dog has a wookie sound too! In fact I watched a SW special months ago on A & E and did you know Chewy's growl, is part dog? Part bear and some other noises. But a dog's growl or sounds came to mind first when they were trying to come up with what a wookie would sound like.

So we call our dog Hope, Chewy when she makes that noise.

Jeez...my dog, Alex...quirky??? Nawwwww....!!

Now, I've always been told that, if a dog eats grass,
it has an upset stomach. My dog is 10 years old, and,
she has, evidently, had an upset stomach since her
puppy years, because, she will graze like an old cow!
She especially likes to graze grass in someone else's
yard (the grass is always greener...?)

In the late summer, she will lay under the hickory tree,
and you will hear "POW!" Yep - there goes another
hickory nut - she literally snacks on them! I think she
has picked up habits from the squirrels!

She's black with white "boots" - she keeps those boots
cleaned, immaculately. She will avoid walking through a puddle
of water, or through mud, carefully calculating every step
to keep her "boots" dry! LOL, go figure, eh?

Our old dog Travis had one quirk: he absolutely LOVED to roll in........ crap. And I don't mean just a quick neck dive in a steaming pile, but full body coverage.
