Teen Charged With Vomiting On Teacher
POSTED: 11:32 am EDT June 14, 2005
OLATHE, Kan. -- A Kansas student faces a misdemeanor charge after throwing up on his Spanish teacher on the last day of school.
Johnson County, Kan., prosecutors have charged the boy with battery against a school teacher, and ordered him to juvenile court on July 1.
The boy's father said he believes what his son told him -- that the stress of final exams made him ill.
But the boy's teacher at Olathe Northwest, David Young, called the youngster's actions "outrageous," and said he's pleased with the support he's received.

About three years ago, I was working in late June. It gets VERY hot and humid up here in late June through July and August.
I worked as a courtesy clerk at a grocery store. In 2002, it was the day before my vacation was to set in, a Sunday. I was scheduled to work from 1pm to 8pm. I already knew coming work that it might be a shortened shift, but I was determined to work like a chicken with its head cut off.
One more 7 hour day, then a MUCH-deserved vacation to St. Louis to see relatives.
Well, it started off okay, but my queasy stomach was beginning to take over. About 3:30pm, I was helping a customer out to her vehicle with groceries. On the way outside, I just did not want to hold anything any longer. Immediately after I had loaded the young women's vehicle and did my closing, I had to let it go. The customer asked me if I was okay, and I said that I would be okay, but would notify management.
Upon re-entering the store, I really did not need to say a word; my manager recommended that I relax for 10 minutes or so. I sat on a bench and had some water.
I gave it another go, but both them and I decided that it was time for vacation to start a little early!
In fact, I was assisting my what-would-be my last customer of the day, and noticed they already had me signed out on the attendance sheet as "OUT EARLY-SICK".
Thankfully, it was only a combination of my work performance (VERY HARD), heat (90s with rediculous dew points), and some fried chicken I ate earlier. I felt better towards bedtime.

OK.. there has just got to be more to this story. I mean it makes no sense that charges would be filed against the kid unless he threw up on her on purpose. Then again it's pretty hard to do that. Just don't get it. If the kid was really honestly sick then shame on the teacher! If some how the kid intentionally made himself 'throw up' how did the teacher not see it comeing and move? (he had to make himself gag somehow). Is there any more explaination on how this actually occured?
Edit: and please don't say you know when you are going to do that so can move. I on several occasions when I was preggo did just this and had no clue till the issue was over. And in public ...much to my embarressment! *blushes*
