I will probably have to work. I had to every year except for 1. And that was only because I asked for it and went spend it with my grandparents who were living on the MS coast near Gulfport at the time. Anyway, I know I will probably be working until at least 6 p.m. The store has been closing at 6 every year for 4th of July instead of the usual closing time of 9 p.m. After the store closes, I may head to Peltiers Park in Thibodaux for the Freedom Festival. They will have a fireworks display at 9 p.m. I will be able to at least make that. Unless the store changes its closing time back to 9 p.m. Because if that happens, I won't be able to make a single thing!

We'll probably head out to the country club we belong to and watch their fireworks display. But the biggest celebration will be my daughters 18th birthday!!!!!!!! Aw cher, my little firecracker! Just a side note, when she was little she thought all the fireworks were for her birthday and we didn't tell her otherwise!

We were planning on having a crooner-style 4th of July party, complete with Frankie and Dean and dressing to the nines :D

Just hope none of the rented tuxes end up in the pool...

Dunno, the 4th doesn't just mean the same as yester years before. Bush really screwed this up for me...

Crazy...its about being an American and being free...not about President Bush. If that were the case quite a few of us would have boycotted every 4th during the Clinton years :)

Enjoy your 4th man!!

not sure, but my wife and I might have to work. Our company is building a new store and they say it will probably open somewhere between the 1st and 5th of July.
