Not so sure about that. Been around 56 years, and I have to say I think I may have met a few.

Yeah, sometimes it seems that they're among us.

My wife has often asked me what planet I come from. All I can say is
"Erpp, Eeep"

One thing I've noticed in the above discussions is that everyone seems to be assuming that extra-terrestrials are something we would recognize. I'm not so sure that is the case. In reference to the universal time frame we are babies here on earth. With possibly billions of years of technological know-how more then humans, there is no telling what an extra-terrestrial would look like(if indeed we were able to see them), act like, or eat(maybe that chemical soup Helen mentioned). Yes I do believe there is life other than on the planet earth! Beam me up Scotty!!

I'm not so certain about Big Dave and justjake...I can only handle one "war" at any given time.

No war on two fronts, eh Bill? Are you otherwise engaged?

I have been embroiled in a "cold" war right here at home for the past 5 years, coriolis; it is all I can do to keep it from "open hostilities" with four competing factions at play.

You asked...

So then it is incumbent on you to choose your battles wisely. I can see it: intrigue, tests of will, coalition building...

I happen to believe in Life on other distant planets or in distant galaxies. In my opinion it would be arrogant to assume we are the only Life in this infinite universe. The fact we haven't seen them..and maybe we have... proves nothing but our comman place fear and doubt of the unknow. My attitude is Anything is possible and just because you can't or haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I am not saying ET is gonna cruise down here and do lunch with us someday but..LIFE comes in many forms.

I agree with you, Jonathan. As I said it is hard to believe that there is life on other planet or in other galaxies... not that there aren't any at all.
