Nothing so far here in Sikeston, buit as a precautionary measure I'm shutting down. If Storm2K admins want to check in with me, I'll most likely be up all night.

We had our share of T-storms, but the tornadoes seem to have been mostly north of us; Benton, however, is only 12 miles away (we're in Scott County, near the border with New Madrid County at I-60), so that was close enough. :o
The TV "Emergency Broadcast Signal" warnings were interrupting programming every 10 minutes for about 4 hours there (Philip was upset because he missed some scenes from the soon-to-be-finished "Buffy" series, which he "lives for"...)![]()
More T-storms are predicted all week, every day....so we are far from "out of it". Captain Midnight and the good ship "Bootheel" are still afloat...almost literally!
