Tom, yes I have to sign up to read it too. But I did see the condition the car was in, before the sign up page appeared. I'm assuming it was a tragic accident? So sad. Can only imagine the worst. I'll definitely say prayers Brenda.

Chambers' car was hit by a pickup truck that allegedly ran a red light
A Norfolk teen has died from injuries suffered in a collision Tuesday at the intersection of Azalea Garden Rd. and Military Highway.

Landon Chambers was a junior at Lake Taylor High School. The car he was riding in was hit broadside at the intersection by a pickup truck that allegedly ran a red light. The driver of that truck ran away from the accident scene but was soon captured by police.

Landon Chambers died from injuries suffered in the Tuesday crash.
All three accident victims were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where Landon Chambers later died. His brother Barney Chambers, who had graduated from Lake Taylor last year, was driving the car.

Landon's father said he had sent Barney to pick up his younger brother Landon from school. According to family members, Barney Chambers suffered only minor injuries.

The accident happened at 1:24pm Tuesday. Numerous charges are pending against the 30-year-old male driver who ran the red light.
