I gave my sister a new kitten last weekend and there was a big heavy mirror in her son's room. The kitten was playing and the mirror fell over and crushed him.

Just another update on our new kitten, all is well. Our other cat has not quite used to it. But it took our other cat two weeks to get used to our deceised cat. But the new baby is doing fine. For a week I have my mother in laws cat , so we are keeping them seperated for awhile.

As you know... it may take a while... don't punish your older cat for hissing... the older one all of a sudden feels threatened due to the fact that there is another cat in the house. Try to play with your older cat that way he/she doesn't feel left out... after a few weeks, they'll be best of friends.
