Well, I Am Scared

#1 Postby Janice » Sat Aug 13, 2005 9:32 am

You don't have to agree with me, but I think this is true and it is scary because we as a nation are just sitting back and watching it and doing nothing. So, we better not cry later.

Yesterday, I watched a movie on China and Japan, mostly China. They showed how they are setting up their internets for all broadbands, etc. They want to make sure all schools and businesses have broadband so they can stay ahead of things.

They are exporting more of their goods all the time to the US and not buying from us much at all.

They are accepting more US businesses in their country so more of their people can get more jobs.

They do not seem to mind the lower wages, because more companies are getting better working conditions and many hold down two jobs like in the US. They say they can live good with both wife and husband working.

They showed the average persons apartment and they had all the modern conveniences.

Their schools are up to date, English is manditory because it is the major language of the world.

They are getting their children ready for the future.

They are sitting back, doing their thing for their future and I can see we may feel the effect of it all.

Will the US be prepared for all this in the future?

They have also changed their one child policy. Back in the 70s or so when they implemented it, they were overpopulated. Now they say they are to the point where they can have more children now.

Just my opinion.
