That could lead to prosecutors saving evidence for a second bite should their first try fail.

"Everyone needs to just calm down, I have it on good authority that the Anthony case has been re-opened! Someone actually witnessed the whole thing! And on top of that the witness just so happens to be a Judge and He gets to preside over the case. Trial is set to begin the moment after she takes her last breath."

Again, I think she and/or someone in the family knows what happened, but the prosecution didn't prove beyond reasonable doubt. Everything was circumstantial. Casey's actions are very suspect. I do not blame the jury.

This whole trial seemed to be another example of prosecutorial arrogance in action where the state erroneously believed that a reservoir of public goodwill and support would be sufficient to paper over what was a rather weak case. while there is little doubt in my mind (and probably the jury's mind) that casey was involved in her daughter's death, the state just didn't have the goods. even basic questions like the cause of death remain a mystery. if the state's job is to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt they didn't...too many blanks. they should have held off and tried to build a more solid case since they only had one shot. this really reminds of the infamous michael jackson molestation trial...you know the guy probably did something but the state failed to prove it. that said, just because the jury said not guilty doesn't mean you're gonna send your kid to the next slumber party. similarly, avoid the casey anthony baby sitting service.

Letting your child go missing for over a month without reporting it should be enough to put this creature in jail for life IMHO.....

First juror to talk says it was a horrific acident and that the state didnt prove anything....on another note the prosecution had announced his retirement...lastly I leave yo uwith this question..if not reporting your child missing for 31 days is not child neglect..what is? I just hope she has to answer one day and I believe she will!

Thank goodness for this verdict. And thank goodness the concept of guilty until proven innocent did not prevail.

I concur. Disdain for the jury is misdirected. the burden of proof rests with the prosecution. they failed. she walks. but keep in mind that not guilty does not = innocent.

Wouldn't you retire if you screwed up so bad?

It's a foregone conclusion that she did something that should have yielded a conviction, but the prosecution flubbed the case all the way through.

No evidence to support convicting Casey. True, she is a self centered liar who seemed to give a damn about her child or parents. Reports are now saying that she is likely to profit from all this. This is one case of book burning I'd endorse.......MGC

Her troubles arn't over yet. This from the lady who she accused of kidnapping her daughter. I hope Casey takes all those interviews for money and pays this lady what she is deserved! She brought this lady down..she lost everything because of Casey!

I know alot of people are mad at the verdict however this is not the way to go! the family is recieving alot of death threats

http://www.clickorlando.com/video/28467156/index.html

Plus! More jurors are speaking..They said that the ywere sick to give not guilty because they believe she was guilty but there wasnt enough evidence! Thats fine and dandy but there is 2nd degree murder where she would have jus twent to jail! You didn;t have to convict here on 1rst degree the judge even told you that in your instructions!

All I can say is this. First, I did not watch ( well wait, one hour of the trial while I was biking at the YMCA) most of the trial. Second, I did watch the verdict. Third, if you agree or do not agree on the outcome, you must watch what you say in public. Why do I say this? Folks on Facebook are screaming " Get a rope, shoot her" and such. Folks should understand, in this day and age, it is taken VERY seriously about what you say and the perceived notion thereof. Thanks for the 2 cents.
