Linda - we need to explain a bit, !

Joe - for many of us, TWC boards were our hang out. We had a lot of fun there, met more wx-board friends along the way. Then TWC clamped down, we couldn't post links, they took away the Off Topic Forum. Suddenly it like was a ghost-town. Made worse by the fact they started banning TWC members, people who in a million years would not do anything wrong or post inappropriately. Many joined S2K (and other wx boards) but some were hold-outs, expecting TWC boards to return to their former glory - ha, fat chance of that ever happening. Since many had joined S2K and loved it already, almost to the point of asking - TWC who - they began 'inviting' TWC hold-outs. Or those banned from TWC.

I've invited many to join us here. Linda was one of them. But before that I was told how nice S2K was, by Skywatch_NC/Eric. He invited me first, then I in turn did the same.

Hope that clears it up. And no, no one needs an invite to join us here at S2K but back then, when many were lost, didn't know where to find their former wx-board friends, S2K was a wonderful haven to find. And then again, when you find a place like this, you just naturally start telling more friends about it!
