Still on target for release tomorrow. Had my first meal today, a fish sandwich and potato skins. And I tolerated it well, so no problems. I can't wait to go home...I miss it.

GREAT NEWS, Jeremy!! :D

I imagine that fish sandwich and potato skins were mighty tasty after the liquid "diet"! :)

Jeremy - please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, although I haven't been online much lately. I will write you soon and I'm so very, very glad your recovery is going so well. You know that means a lot to me! I know how horrendous major surgery can be and it sure sounds like you are being a very good patient here! You've been thru so much in your young years but you're such a trooper too. I most admire your positive attitude and fighting spirit!

Thanks a lot everyone...Merry Christmas to you all too!

This is the last update I put on the site Eric mentioned (last night at 8:35pm EST)...I wanted to share it with you all, because I believe so strongly that you all helped turn things 180° in the last days I was in the hospital.

Thank you all for the prayers and support you have shown to me and my family for the last week. I cannot express enough what it means to us. The one thing that still has not been explained is the nose tube falling out Tuesday morning...but it doesn't need to be explained. Fact of the matter is, I believe, as does my mom, that this was a MIRACLE from God...because I KNOW I did not pull it out, and I never noticed it coming out like I normally would have. Again, thank you all. :)

One more thing about that page: I am keeping it up until January 15, 2006...there's still a process ahead, and who knows what may happen between now and then? And if I ever am hospitalized again? Well, I will definitely use the service again.
