Annette - LOL I think this fast pace I'm on now will be a good thing. Don't worry, I am resting. I just started painting my DR today.....I know, throw me a paintbrush, huh? Just not a can of paint....you see my Sears Hardware store is going out of business and I just ~had~ to take advantage of their sales. I will miss having this store to run up to quick, for paint or supplies. I'm set now until the next big area to repaint (bought enough for the foyer and living room, they are adjacent to the DR.). My goal is get this entire area completely repainted by Thanksgiving - that's a reasonable amount of time!

Well......we are hosting a small group for Thanksgiving. And having a xmas party again this year. If I don't have an incentive, it just doesn't get done!

This area was so outdated - pink and mauve....with feathering. Ugh! Nice 12 years ago but it's been bugging me for about 3 years. Time for a change. I'm pulling out the greens from my dearly departed MIL's couches. Pale green walls in LR, Foyer and above chair rail in DR. Below chair rail, a darker sage type green. Subtle wide stripes in same pale green above, but in satin over flat. Just a look I've been wanting to implement for years now!

Go back to work in New Orleans tomorrow. I've been told not to expect too much, parts of the city are still closed off. Parts of the CBD are still closed. But at least I am on the road to getting my life back :D

Hi everyone!!!

First of all, glad to see Donna (Isobar) checked in and is okay.

Secondly, we received 2nd place overall this weekend. I was so excited. Here we are, a class 3 school beating the likes of Rockhurst, Blue Springs, Raytown, and other Class 5 and 6 schools. It felt good! We brought home 12 trophies. LOL... If this trend continues the trophy case may not be big enough.

Welcome to the PBS Angelwing!

So very thankful that weatherfreak's family members and Donna and her family are all okay! :) Prayers and thoughts with those less fortunate in the devastated areas of the Ohio Valley.

Congrats Garrett!!!!!! That's terrific.

Hey little Sis, I'm so glad you're back home and getting back to a little bit of normalcy. ((Hugs))

Mary, Mary, a woman after my own heart. I love to paint. I'm always switching something around. The green sounds beautiful. I'll come over and help if you want. By the way are you adding more hours to our 24hour day in order to accomplish this and also work - and all of this by Thanksgiving!!!! YIKES

Hi angelwing. Welcome to the stove. Sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the friendly warmth of this place.

So glad all of our Storm2k friends are safe and sound after the storms blew thru the Ohio Valley. We had horizontal rain here in the Burgh with winds gusting at 60mph.

Well, I'm going to try some of that wonderful eggnog (thanks Brunota). Yummy

I'll brew a pot of Earl Grey, add some logs to the fire and get back to work. Maybe I'll check in later and grab a little eggnog and add some Crown Royal to it. (Yep, I'll wait till after 5:00!!)

Take care my friends
