We'll, me bein of the Ferguson clan, sure Seamus MacTuff would love my Haggis. It's closer to shoe leather than anything.

Well I'm curling up under one of the afghans and stoking the fire. Temps are heading towards freezing here again tonight. I've got some water heating on the stove for those that want hot chocolate(in the cupboard) or tea.

Get out from under those Afghans; 30,000 troops will be at your door soon.

Well, it is definitely cold enough to gather around the stove today!! Merry Christmas stove buddies!! I've stoked the fire and brought in enough wood for the day. Leaving some homemade hot cocoa and Christmas cookies for those that stop by.

The cocoa and Christmas cookies were yummy, David - thanks! Hope everyone had a
lovely Christmas. We even got some snow showers here for an hour or so that didn't
stick, but was big enough to see without a magnifying glass...so, we got snow for
Christmas, after all!

That north wind is cold, so the stove feels so good.

The Great White North seems to have shifted southward...COFFEE, please, and some sausages for my Wee Wolves.

*parks my chair next to the Stove, puts in more fuel; Annabelle (she be a ho'), Digger, Bonnie and Seamless...uh, Seamus jockey for position on my lap.*

Champagne, did someone say champagne???? No, it's so cold and snowy here, I think I'd prefer cocoa with a touch of Bailey's!!! However, I did drink my share of chardonnay on New Year's Eve.
LOL
Happy New Year everyone.

Well, I'm gonna be out on the porch for a while. It is too hot in here for me. Gotta love Winter in Texas!! I'm in shorts today! When we do a January thaw, WE DO A JANUARY THAW!! I'm sure I'll be back in here looking for some nice hot cocoa or Bailey's soon enough.

Hey there gang. Pot belly stove may have an extra visitor by Thursday night if the storm rolls in with rains of an inch or more here. Pretty much saturated ground already here in NE Phoenix. I'll need a warm place for some conversation and a Baileys!

Take care in the meantime, and keep a chair handy for me.
