S2K Bar! (Enter at your own risk!!)
Moderator: S2k Moderators
Good to see you, Lindaloo! LOL, yes, the S2K Bar is...well,
wherever we want it to be!
John, FREE food? YUM, I'll take a NY Strip steak, medium-well,
with a baked potato, please - I'm starving!
LOL, Garrett is right - I'm being silly, Tom. The best place to
post alcohol humor is in the Bar, right? Now, I know some people
have had past problems with alcohol, or have been involved with
alcoholism, and, I do full-well understand the seriousness of it. I've
been married to an alcoholic, had a long-term relationship with an
alcoholic, and, as a nurse, I see it, every day. But, there's a lighter
side for folks who occasionally drink, or observe people drinking.
As with all other things in life, one cannot dwell on the negative -
somewhere, there is a lighter side to all things.
And....now that I've said that....where's my margarita?
wherever we want it to be!

It smells like chicken here this evening.
Yes, I know you (Annette) was being silly. I am indicating my strong opinion on drinking... my thoughts on the issue are part of the Storm2K Bar.
I haven't had direct effects of alcohol issues, just my brother and father (as I mentioned in another thread) drink sometimes. I know of one alcoholic; that lives across the street from me, he works ten hours a night [into the early morning], thus hasn't had time to drink like he did in the last few years.

Ah, thanks Frack!!! It's been a while since we have chatted. I even have to be careful how many peanuts I eat, at least for the first 2 weeks. Then we go to phase two, which allows a lot more foods back in. Then phase three is maintenance. If you read the book, I swear you will never eat carbs again. It is definitely a lifestyle change, but an easy one I think.
Not to worry though, I'll be knocking back a "Rita or 2 every once in a while. And the vino isn't off limits later either.

Morning everyone. Looks like there has been a lot of activity in here while I have been gone. I guess I better clean it up.
