I talked to Mario last night on the phone. I told him, no more ladders for him. He is going to a rehab on Monday in Lutz, Fl. He has made remarkable progress. He still has some cloudy moments but he remembers the fall and then he said his head felt funny and he went to sleep and was quiet for a long time. It is a miracle. I have no other explanation. He is in a physical therapy facility now. I will keep you posted on his progress. He is doing better than expected. Mary told me she told him that she was going to visit him the other day and he told her to drive safely. That is one of the first "in the present" statements he has made. :bday:

Just talked to Mario on the phone. He says he is bored and wants to come home. I cannot believe this is the man I saw in a coma just weeks ago, He still has a long way to go and he is in and out of "reality" so to speak. He has damage to the left side of his body causing his face to droop and his eye to roll back and his hearing and eyesight is poor on that side but considering the fact he could have died and the miracles that have been blessed upon him. The future looks better than it could have. God is Great!!!!Thank you all for your Prayers and well wishes. God Bless you all from the bottom of my heart. Mary is here for the night with Tony and I. She Thanks you all. (((HUGS)))

Hello Everyone, This is Mary, I am at John and Tony's home. A much needed break. to say that I am thankful for all of your concern and Prayers seems small but your Prayers have been answered. Yes, we have a long way to go but with your continued prayers and suuport I know GOD will take care of us. I know, so many of you have your own problems and to take the time to be concerned for someone that you don't know. I feel more blessed. May GOD take care of your families. John is my Best friend. Thank you Thank and God bless all of you. When Mario is able, he will send you a letter. This WILL happen.

Oh Mary! Thank you so much for taking the time out to send us a little note. I'm just so glad that Mario is doing as well as his, considering how dire the situation was initially.

Thanks David and steph. Mary left about 6pm. It was like a mini vacation for her. We had dinner last night here and then today We took her out to dinner at a thai restaurant, it was fun. She is a rock. I am sooo proud of her. Thanks again!!! to you all ((HUGS)) God Bless
