I am beginning to think that he confessed just to get attention and his face on the news. How many people who murdered children sit down at a press conference and confess to a murder by saying it was an accident when the fact is she was brutally strangled and had her head bashed in.
Just too many things that just don't seem right. Like his confession and then saying no comment on specifics and the fact that there is a good chance that he was not even in Denver when the crime took place.

I have a real problem with the fact they didn't investigate to see if he was in Boulder during Christmas. Also, a DNA match. I would have left him in Thailand until I could confirm whether there was probable cause to have him extradited. Something is really fishy.

This is becoming 1 of those stories I am becoming more glued too and don't wanna turn it off, Because I keep watching to see what everyone thinks and or if there are any breaking developments.
That may sound wierd. lol.. But, I just have been glued to this ever since I heard the breaking news yesterday.

Now that is very interesting. I was just coming to post that. I hope this is the right guy so the family can finally have some closure. I still suspect that there will always be people who still believe the parents guilty even if there is a conviction of this guy, like Mark Klauss for example.

It was homeland security that said Karr will face charges.
I don't think the Colorado police have said whether or not Karr will be charged. You'd think Homeland Security would have better things to do (like stop terrorists) than worry about ten-year old murder cases
He will be taken within the week to Colorado, where he will face charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping and child sexual assault, Ann Hurst of the Department of Homeland Security told reporters in Bangkok.

Maybe when Karr said that it was an accident, he meant Patsy did it and it was an accident. Remember, people thought maybe she disciplined JonBenet and maybe she hit her a little too hard or something. May Karr knew Patsy and she told him this. Maybe he knew JonBenet personally thru Patsy.....

I was just trying to account for his answers. Like when he said he picked he up from school. Maybe he did at one time. Did he say he picked her up that day or leave the day open? Maybe he is just trying to confuse them. So, if he said it was an accident and he picked her up from school, is he lying or telling the truth? And when he said he drugged her, it may have been with something they did not test for or something that could have left her body faster and undetectable.

Just pointing out that Homeland Security got involved in this case for some reason and made a mountain out of a molehill. They shouldn't be claiming someone should face charges. That's the job of the Co police.

CNN news tv just reported that Karr had written to the killer of Holly Klass in prison. They exchanged letters. It will be interesting to find out what they wrote about. I am waiting for CNN.com to print this information.
CNN tv said there will be a news conference stating what they found in Davis's cell.
