Hmm, it seems odd that Johns was eliminated...

but I don't think it's rigged. Remember Jennifer Hudson? That was a shocker. Tamyra Gray, Chris Daughtry, Sundance Head... sometimes people just dont get the vote they deserve.

David A was good but not amazing. The best until David C sang though. I think David C really solifided his spot tonight. If he's not in the finale I'll be shocked.

Someone at work suggested that the girls were set up to fail last night. There are two singers, the judges have repeatedly said don't pick sing their songs: Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. .

AT this point with the talent among this group it is very difficult to choose imo. However, I did not disagree with the bottom three.

This is the most talent American Idol has had. I really like Jason Castro and his soothing voice but think David Cook will win it.

A lot of people were ticked at how they did Michael and said they weren't watching anymore. I guess they meant it.

I didn't watch, either. I wasn't home, but could have watched it on DVR. I feel like it's rigged because no way one of the best voices on there actually gets the lowest amount of votes and goes out #8. It just turned me off the show. I may watch the finale though.... I dunno.

Last year was my first year watching and I wasn't sure I wanted to invest the time involved in watching AI this year. I watched some of the auditions, but when I heard Michael sing Bohemian Rhapsody during Hollywood Week, I was hooked. Then I started watching and liked a lot of the other contestants as well. If you look around, you'll see the reasoning behind why it would be fixed, and the judges' overpraising and under-praising of certain contestants seems to fall right in line with it. Seems sorta silly and I'm not one for conspiracy theories (although I was accused of being part of one last year... LOL), but it seems to make sense.
