One more but a very special one:

Best Tireless S2K Recruiter - Skywatch_NC/Eric!!!

Eric - you are THE reason I'm a member of Storm2K!!! You kept telling me how nice it was here, how family-like the atmosphere was (and still is in fact). So for the umpteenth tiime, thank you for the invite!!! You alone my friend are no doubt responsible for many members making the decision to join S2K.

Best chauvenist - MF_dolphin

I'm very flattered! :-) Thank you so much for recognizing a life's work! :-)

Whoa...whoa...whoa! Hold on a sec!

Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, Marshall, don't you (or didn't you at one time) coach a girls' softball team? How can a guy who supports girls' athletics be a chauvinist?

I, on the other hand, think women playing basketball is bizarre to watch. Swimming? Yes. Figure skating? Sure. But basketball??? Probably because I grew up watching the great University of Kentucky MEN'S basketball program and just can't imagine it played any other way. Now, who's a chauvinist? :)

Hey! I played basketball and got a few trophies to boot...I didn't look bizarre. 8-)

I love basketball...I have a little "court" outside and shoot baskets all the time now. I swim often too but no figure skating for me. lol

Mary, :)

YOU are one of the dearest WxFriends of mine and always WILL be!!! :D
I'll always remember when we first "met" and talked at a chat room at another wx site (whatever that site's name was?) :) ...and how soooo excited I was when you mentioned you're from Cincinnati in the newbie introductions...and I thought...what a small world to meet a Wxbuddy where I grew up and will always cherish that beloved city in my heart and those Reds!!!! :D :D

You are quite welcome!! :D Our awesome Admins, magnificent Mod staff, sensational Statistician, members/posters, etc...that's a big reason why we and others fell in love with S2K REAL FAST and absolutely NO regrets at all!!!! :D I remember Chad was our rescue hero when he sent out a mass emailing inviting over peeps after the Black Wednesday when the Off-Topic there at that other site was suddenly pulled out from under our feet!!

Eric 8-)

 Miss Mary has been doing all the work actually. (((HUGS)))

That one is perfect for Chad though. That day we all became orphans will forever be etched in my mind. However, they say when one door closes, another opens and Chad couldn't have opened it fast enough!

Okay Steph, stop being so modest....maybe I just bounced titles off of you and you gave your 2 cents on the matter? I'll call you my assistant.

Yes, Chad saved us all from posting on other disappointing boards. Or worse, posting on the Stepford Wx Board, that is if you weren't banned. You had to constantly praise that place, never utter a concern, disagreement, but nod in agreement. How boring it became (and probably still is today). Took me a long time but I finally didn't miss it one bit. Still don't!!!

Congrats to ALL! Happy New Year everyone!

Sunny, I was trying to update the award list but it got quite confusing!!! Yes you could give me the Non-computer savvy award!!! Just kidding....compiling and finalizing this list seems more your talent than mine!

I'll second that... His agreeable demeanor and pleasant manner on the board is an example that many could look to for guidance. While I've been around for only a short time, I find him to be a true professional – one of the best forecasters on S2K.

Perhaps for diffusing tension with occasional irate customers at Wal-Mart!

Josephine, I was thinking about your bike crash. Purple hearts are given for being injured in the line of duty. (at least in the military.)

Nope, you don't appear to have been nominated. Don't sweat it though. I've been here for over 2 years and didn't get nominated either.

Maybe it is because you seem to have disappeared on the boards. Good to see you around.
