My mom and dad have been getting along great the past few days and a divorce is looking very unlikely now. While they will still remain separated, he will be coming over much more now and doing things with us.

We had a great Christmas, probably the FIRST Christmas that my dad actually had a smile on his face and was happy.

So needless to say, thank you for all your prayers, they have obviously worked. :)

Colin, without a doubt, that WAS the BEST Christmas present anyone could ask for.....reconciliation! Another thing Colin, there's NO DOUBT what the power of prayer has, as we've seen it here SO many times in the past few weeks, it DOES work, just keep the Faith Brother, that's ALL it takes! I am very happy for you and your family. Josh, dude, that sounds NASTY......take care of yourself and eats LOTSA chicken soup! BTW...... I've got everyone covered that is in need of the Power of the Mighty Prayer Warriors.

Ya know, I LOVE reading these praise reports, it just reaffirms MY Faith in my God, my Savior!

Colin - like Dennis said, that is one heck of a Christmas present! I'm happy to hear about the reconciliation of your parents. Sometimes separating for awhile helps to bring things into perspective.

Joshua - take care of yourself. It's no fun being sick during the holidays!

David - I'm glad to hear that your friend's grandmother is doing well!

Shannon - I'm glad to hear about your step-father's job!

colin... that is great to hear about your parents.

I have a prayer request... a good friend of mine who happens to be a bluegrass entertainer Rhonda Vincent had emergency pancreas surgery yesterday. She looks to go home today, but if you could keep her in your thoughts and prayers I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

Jeremy, Garrett, and others....prayers continue from here in the Southwest.

Accidents are always scary times..but especially when they involve grandparents.

And Garrett, I'm a fan of Rhonda Vincent's voice, so I hope she gets well soon. Pancreas problems are nothing to mess around with!

Prayers needed

#193 Postby Pburgh » Tue Jan 06, 2004 5:04 pm

My prayers are going out for all of you in need and it is indeed heartwarming to know that our prayers are being answered. God love us.
Jeremy, prayers definitely coming from the Burgh for your Papa and Mama. God Bless them and give them strength.

Today one of the men working in our plant was injured. He is presently in the hospital and may in fact loose several fingers and possibly the use of his right hand. I'm asking that you send up your prayers for him and also for his family. He's a wonderful guy and a great family man.

Thanks - You guys are the best!
I'll keep you posted.
Karan

Thanks Linda.
Our guys at work were terrific in this emergency. They immediately put the detached finger in the freezer and kept Bob from going into shock until the ambulance arrived. They were so distraught that we closed down that particular line and told them to take the day off. I'm praying for all of them too.

Requesting prayers for my best friends father-in-law this time. Here is the email she sent me.

Good morning,
I just wanted to ask everyone to keep my Dad in their prayers. He is going into the hospital in Kerrville tomorrow for surgery because of blockage in his carotid artery. His doctor said that he will be in ICU for 48 to 72 hours after surgery and if there are not any complications, should be home for the weekend. My Mom is very worried so if you could also keep her in your prayers I know that God will bless them with peace and assurance that He will take care of them. I will let you know how Daddy's doing after surgery and thank you for all of your prayers.
Love,
Peggy

His name is Rex and he is a really great person, as is the whole family. Thanks in advance. STORM2K PRAYER WARRIORS ROCK THE WORLD!!!

Okay...I am not big on this stuff and I am definately not a religious guy. I'm Diabetic and having some problems with my eyes. I'm going in for some laser surgery Friday to try and correct some of the problem. A good word is appreciated. Thanks.
