Next week's TV Guide for the November 13th episode:

HUGE color picture of George proposing to a shocked Bree.

"Now that creepy George has killed Rex and banished Andrew, he takes his next step on the road to total Bree domination and pops the question. Sure, Bree's had a tough time lately, but she can't honestly think George is husband material. Let's hope she decides being a widow is better than being a housewife"

and about the Applewhite mystery:

"Betty suffers a major loss"

"With her crazy eyes---and crazy lies---Alfrie Woodard is wonderful as the latest Wisterian whack-job. She may be trying to protect Caleb, but really what kind of mother chains up a kid under the house? Nobody puts baby in the basement. Those Desperate Housewives better beware, because you just know he'll be on the loose on the Lane soon enough".

2-6 November 6 I WISH I COULD FORGET YOU

Carlos is back in court but his lawyer David (Adrian Pasdar) may not be as good in court as he'd like. Someone tries to shoot David but only succeeds in knocking him down. This will be the last episode for David (at least for now); he tries (and apparently fails) to get Gabrielle to leave Carlos for him.

Lynette's boss Nina and Susan's mom Sophie will both be around; also look for Ida Greenberg to show up again.

Lynette will indulge in a magnificent obsession.

Mike and Susan face a crisis in their relationship; they break up after he learns she paid Zach to leave town. When Susan tries to turn in Paul in for his crimes, her plan fails because Mike doesn't back up Susan's story to the police.

Look for the return of Bree's marriage counselor, Dr. Goldfine. Bree and George end up sharing a hotel room, even though she requests a separate room. She may also end up drunk. Flashbacks reveal George's unlucky history with love. Bree and George begin dating and consummate their relationship.

2-7 November 13 I MUST BE DREAMING

Caleb will speak for the first time on the show. Betty suffers a loss of something precious -- does Caleb escape from his basement home? Or does someone . . . die?

Sophie and Morty will both be around; look for Morty to help Susan out of a predicament. Susans is supposed to cosign a loan for her mother to open a business -- but she secretly tells the loan officer it's a bad idea.

Lynette babysits twins who come close to watching an amateur stuff video made by their parents, Leonard and Norma Harper.

Gabrielle meets up with models who are old friends; she feels out of place with them. When Gabrielle cannot get into her dress (she's gone all the way up to a size zero!), she decides to go without food for a dew days. Gabrielle is 3 months pregnant at this point. Also, we'll again see Gabrielle's older, fatter gardener Ralph.

Someone's taken away by an ambulance, and her life hangs in the balance. (That could be anyone, I guess; certainly going without food for 3 days isn't healthy for a pregnant woman, for instance!)

George proposes marriage to Bree and also throws a party for his "friends" -- none of whom he's spoken to in years. We'll meet George's mother, Francine, who's played by soap vet Linda Dano. Dr. Goldfine is also around.

2-8 November 20 THE SUN WON'T SET

Gabrielle learns to let go.

Kathryn Joosten is back in her Emmy-winning role as Mrs. McCluskey. A neighborhood watch meeting is called after a break-in to one of the homes. Everyone's panicked about the intuder on Wisteria Lane -- is it Caleb?

George is ready to move on with Bree, but he's several steps ahead of her when it comes to their relationship. After an engagement notice is mistakenly placed in the newspaper, Bree is warned that George has a history of jealousy and violence. Bree meets up with an old flame but, again, George claims he and Bree are secretly engaged.

And, oh yeah . . . Sophie and Morty are getting married. Look for Susan to learn the identity of her real father.

Betty discovers Matthew is secretly dating Danielle Van De Kamp.

2-9 November 27 THAT'S GOOD, THAT'S BAD

Susan is reunited with her father, who wants nothing to do with her, even while he's in the hospital. She lies to her father's new family about her identity.

One of the women is serenaded. George stalks Bree despite her efforts to break up with him.

One of the women (I think probably Betty) volunteers at the hospital to get close to someone, who's now in the psychiatric ward, and she helps him sneak out of the ward in hopes of protecting him.

A clown is hired for a party. Someone climbs into a bear pit at the zoo.

Gabrielle argues with a nun who's become close to Carlos; the nun believes Gabrielle's bad for Carlos. It looks like Carlos will be finding religion. Also, he's been paroled from prison!

2-10 December 11? TITLE NOT KNOWN

Someone--possibly Gabrielle-wants to get a relative out of the way, so while placing this person in the hospital, she deliberately doesn't mention on the form an allergy that could put the patient out of commission for a while. Lynette's frustrated when her boss Ed brings his young daughter to work. They're casting a younger version of one of the male characters -- probably Zach -- for a flashback involving his childhood.

Bumpety Bump Bump...

All-new episode tonight.

:hoola: :woo: :slime:

TV Guide earlier this week:

A sweeps subplot involving Edie's 6-year-old son and her romance with Susan's ex-husband, Karl, will take center stage on the show starting on Sunday. "There will be a huge crack in the relationship between Karl and Edie that has direct implications for Susan," Cherry said. "For all her bravado there is a lifetime of hurt [Edie]. That's something we are going to reveal very slowly and something that Nicollette is great at playing."

Susan... I'm sorry, but I can't feel sorry for you. I want to, but I can't. Sending your boyfriend's son away, yeah, I'd say that's grounds for breaking up.

Next week-HOLY COW! I have to go re-watch that preview.

I'm here, I'm here.....

Last night's show was just sad.

Sad b/c Rex is gone (will I ever shut about that? LOL), sad b/c Susan went to such extreme lengths to keep Zach away, sad b/c Bree thinks she needs to move on so quickly, she needs time to grieve, darn it......

I was watching with my daughter Laura and it was one bizarre story after another. Bree's breaking out in hives everytime George comes near her, ewwww, Susan tells her mother, who's wearing a long white wedding dress (hello?) that maybe a new family tradition should be to stop getting divorced so much (sounds like a plan to me), Susan getting all dingy when she thinks Mike might propose soon, Gabby's flirting with the lawyer, he's all swarmy like in return, please, can't stand her - still! I was proud of her for not sleeping with him though. I kept saying to Laura - and she's pregnant! Another gasp out of Laura.....she finally said mom, that entire street is so dysfunctional! Oh yeah, Paul shows up and starts mowing the lawn. Laura couldn't believe a murderer would be allowed back home. I said well, it's a long story....

Good thing the Applewhites weren't featured last night! LOL She might have said - I'm sticking with Lost, thank you very much......he he

I just don't want Bree with George. Even his name is creepy. Sorry to the George's out there....he puts your name(s) to shame! Giving her pills....grrr. Thought that hotel clerk would have stepped in. Shame on him for not doing that. So did Bree & George do it or not? She looked very remorseful they did at the end. It's about time, g/f!

I wish Gabby would behave and dress like she's pregnant. What size is that baby by now - a bean? LOL

Susan.....don't feel sorry for her either Brent. Her storylines are wearing very thin about now. She's been riding high on the success of this show, well Teri Hatcher has been. If she's smart, she'll sit those writers down and say enough is enough, give Susan a brain! The blondes are usually dingy! Even Edie seemed to look down on Susan, more than she usually does!

My favorite is still Lynette. Expensive suit and all. What a witch her boss is! I predict she will be a stay at home mom again before the season is over. And have renewed respect for mom's who stay home too!

Next.......

Yes... they did, but we believe that she may have been asleep during it(I won't go into it), and then she woke up and figured out what had happened.

Either way, Bree's going to be shocked next week when he proposes(I thought we were going to a yard sale? ROFL!!! ) and she's going to figure out that he wants to go much farther than her in the relationship.

His proposal will shock Bree! I thought we were going to a yardsale? LOL

Here's the Monday morning TV Guide critique...pretty funny, in itself...

TV Guide

http://www.tvguide.com/TV/Watercooler/

Desperate Housewives
I'm trying to decide what was crazier – the scantily clad Gabrielle seducing Adrian Pasdar just to see if he'd take the bait and then rejecting him or Susan tearfully running into the street wearing the wedding dress as Mike breaks up with her in front of all her neighbors. Desperate housewives, indeed. When Susan's mother first had the wedding dress on, I couldn't help but think of Cinderella. Lesley Ann Warren will always be Cinderella to me. It was hilarious when she thought Mike was there to pop the question to Susan. Wrong question. Of course it had to be Paul Young that told Mike that Susan gave Zach money to leave town. Loved the scene where all the neighbors were outside freaking out because Paul was back and the police were there. Best line was Edie: "I win – I made out with him." Pretty sad that it took a $900 suit to make Lynette a better marketing exec, but I liked when she bought her hubby golf clubs with carbon fiber shafts just so he could feel the money, too. And the whole Bree and George courtship just gives me the same feelings I get when I see Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes together. When George first went to kiss Bree, I flashed back to Michael Jackson kissing Lisa Marie Presley at the MTV Music Awards so long ago. So. Not. Buying it. The fact that George gave Bree the hives didn't shock me, but I guess she got over it since it seems they did the dirty deed. I'm just glad we didn't have to see that. — Dave Anderson

BTW: The question is... what did George do to Bree while she was asleep(remember, we saw him untwisting his tie slowly) and then it goes to commerical. When we see them again Bree is waking up and George has supposedly been watching her for 6 or 7 hours(yeah sure).

Her physique will probably tell us in the months to come.

Honestly I think the show is getting really weird to the point of ridiculousness in some parts. Of course I am probably just a simpleton and to many story lines in a single show mixes me up!!!

Well, it looked like he watched her sleep. And as my daughter pointed out, she was still wearing her panty hose. Bree is fussy about her appearance, you'd think she'd notice if someone had undressed her and then redressed her. To get specific.

But my question is, what did they do after she woke up? It sure looked like they did something, with her sitting there in a robe, looking shell shocked (my gosh was it that bad? LOL).

I miss Rex! And yes you can cheat on a corpse, if it's been less than a year, in my book anyways...

David, last night's episode was really bizarre. Susan used to be the honest, but dingy one. The one you could count on for decency (forget that naked mishap in the bushes). Now who do we have? No one!

Oh they did it... that was obvious. It didn't look like she enjoyed it though.

I think she really feels bad because George made her feel sorry for him and she caved... he is such a little slimy creature. :grr:

The opening scene was funny BTW, he thinks he can just walk up to a strange woman's house and they want to do it with him? Geez.

When she got hives(I was ROFL during that), it was her mind telling her she needed to stay away, but she didn't listen.

All I can say is thank goodness she finally let her hair out of that tight 'do! I like her hair down (my preference, in general).

As for George -- ick!

From Kristin at E! Online

11/08 - [Carlos found the Lord while in prison. Mary Alice is back on the set to shoot an episode that will air on December 11. Gabrielle] still isn't the monogamous type.

Page Kennedy is out as "Caleb." The actor has been fired for improper conduct and the character is being recast. Good thing they hadn't really shown his face yet...although you have to wonder about the unaired eps that may have given us a clearer shot of what he looks like.

He's going to be shown on Sunday(he escapes from the basement) and breaks into someone's house and then Bree is seen calling for an ambulance.
