I haven't had a recent update on my cousin.... I'm sure I'll find out when I talk with my mom.

As for the Hurricane Hunters gig.... I inprocessed at Keesler on last Monday..... today I'm here at Altus AFB, OK... Tomorrow I start my Basic Loadmaster Course. In six weeks I'll have my wings! I have my flight suits already... this will make the set complete.... (for now I'm wingless) Now for those of you that know the military does things.... your probably surprised that it was this quick. I was in the right place at the right time, per se.

Snow....OMG... There is some snow on the ground here in Oklahoma.... What a deep UL Low.

You brought this cold air down with ya Pojo?

Let me snuggle up around the stove for just a few minutes. I've got to go to bestbuy. I bought a computer monitor on thanksgiving eve cuz mine finally quit turning on and now it's on sale. I'll get $50 back from that plus $70 in reward bucks. I'm like a kid...they're burning a hole in my pocket.

Going down to the teens again tonight in the Ohio Valley!

I'm already wearing my thermals, he he or as they are correctly called, Cuddle Duds! I cannot get thru winter w/o them!

Jeremy - it's a Winter Wonderland over on this side of the river. Just a dusting to half an inch, but it's pretty. And causing traffic problems, since temps are rapidly dropping and roads were not treated. Meanwhile people from Chicago or Buffalo would be cracking up at how we handle snow. LOL There are even school closings! (but not mine, dang it, have to report to work!).

Same over here in Northern Kentucky. My stepdad had a doctor's appointment scheduled at ten in Fort Mitchell (about 8 minutes away normally) but he wouldn't have gotten there in his Camaro, and traffic was really bad so he re-scheduled it.

Ok scoot over guys and gals!!! It is 40º here in Houston with sleet in the area. Of course, we haven't seen any of it in my area of town. I guess I can always go to bed and hope to wake up to a WINTER WONDERLAND!!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!

Pojo, how's OK? I always enjoyed driving through it, but only stayed there once.

Well, daddy's wallet is already draining for the next wedding!!! Had to put a deposit on the reception site this week!!!   Donations anyone??

Ah, the warmth of this place is always refreshing. BTW, has anyone checked on the animals lately? We need to be sure they are protected from the cold.

Enjoy your weekend all!!!!

Altus is pretty boring... The closest big city is Lawton... that's about an hour away.... Wichita Falls is about an 1 1/2 hour away. I'd rather be in OK City or Tulsa.

Good, SGT...that means you can concentrate on "self-actualizing" as we older USAF people called "training". :D

Awesome Pojo!!!

I wish you were a little closer. I'd come get you and bring you over to my house for Christmas!!! AT least you may have a white Christmas due to your location. Not much chance of that here even though we are supposed to be cold.
