Gosh, I remember so much and then I have forgotten some good S2K memories too (wracking my ole brain here....LOL).

I remember feeling adrift after TWC boards were dismantled and missing my wx friends. Eric/Skywatch recommended S2K, saying it was a nice atmosphere (sorry, no pun intended) with a family vibe. He was right. I immediately loved it here! I in turn found so many former TWC friends who migrated here and met many, many more. Tripling the fun really......

I remember the gender war topics. What fun we had with them!

I remember three fun topics - the porch/stove ones and then cyclone/Graham's resurrection of an old TWC topic, "just saying hi". All 3 were fun places to just drop in, chill out or warm up, post whatknot stuff, see who was around, what was the topic of the day (donuts, armadillo's, silly banter that was hilarious at times....).

This board has attracted so many memorable characters! All unique in their own ways, even the troublemakers......

I love my Storm2K!

Okay, even sappy, corny postings from this member.....LOL

I heard she lost everythng in Katrina. I hope she is doing well now.

Remember when we used to decorate the pot belly stove at Christmas and when we would have picnics on the front porch. David, remember chocolate covered KK's?? Mary, remember Earl Grey tea? I remember going into the bar and finding a few good friends on the floor - sound asleep from the night before. We've also watched a few finish high school and college.

Gawd Almighty - I remember all of those things Karan! Heck, I'm still drinking your delicious Earl Grey and it still tastes as good as the first cup you made me! You always seem to know when I needed to sit a spell and drink your tea. LOL

The S2K Bar was a fun, rowdy place. Annette/breeze made the best Margarita's (and still does). She'd have her lawn chair at the ready and I'd bring mine. We'd sit, get sloshed on her Margaritas and watch the show (usually the gender wars but sometimes other "arguments"...of which we stayed out of but had fun watching, from the sidelines....).

We can still have all this fun, ya know......we could make it The Summer of 2008 S2K Reunion! Revisit fun topic ideas and such.....

Annette - where are you, bring your lawn chair and a pitcher of your infamous Margarita's.....then Karan can sober us up with her Earl Grey tea....he he

Remember when....I cleaned up after the S2k bar closed....and never EVER mentioned who might said what about someone else somewhere in the middle of that last drink in the wee hours.

Remember when Slowpoke was a common visitor on the front porch!
