Progressive metal, eh? I'm listening to some metalcore ... The Devil Wears Prada and August Burns Red ... but that is because my teenaged son is listening to them!

Hotel California by The Eagles and trying to figure out what the song’s really about. Googling has revealed that lots of peeps have been doing the same thing. I used to listen to it a lot in my teen years and didn’t care much for what it meant. It just sounded nice!

Going back to my favorite band's first CD, the one, the only...Killing is My Business and Business is Good from 1985 ( Tongue in cheek, by the way) from Megadeth. They are coming to Houston September 26, but I do not feel like seeing Anthrax or Slayer, so I am thinking, two hours of Megadeth, then go home. LOL

I have seen Queensryche twice and they rocked. I will say their latest release, American Soldier is good, but they are missing Chris De Garmo. I think he is coming back to Queensryche.

I've been on a Queen kick lately.

♫ There goes my baby... she knows how to rock & roll... she drives me crazy... she gives me hot and cold fever... then she leaves me in a cool cool sweat ♫

Yep. Agreed. The lyrics were written for his ex Diane, the music for Cliff Burton ( Metallica has not been the same since, IMHO), former bassist for Metallica.
