the only flowers i have blooming are in my sun window, a 5 year old geranium and the "mayflower" plant that seems to thrive in this dry low sun environment-:)-oh i see a vinca trying to blossom also-lol- it has been about 30 days now since we have been above the freezing mark-and cabin fever is definately setting in-2 years ago i planted almost 200 bulbs and i'd say less then 30 percent made it thru the harsh winter-this past fall i planted another 100 bulbs-hopefully the snowpack will make a difference-and i will have some dazzling blooms in apr.!! i am not only thinking spring now-but desperately waiting for it!---pete-- and on a side note breeze very few birds wintered here this past year-my feeders have been almost void of birds for the last 2 months-

I hope that more of the bulbs come up for you this year!
As long as I keep filling the feeder, the birds keep coming - sparrows, mourning doves, blue jays, finches. We have a juge holly in the back, so there have been berries for them to feed on also. We also throw out our old bread.

Looks like rain, it has been an over-all mild
winter, here, as, I don't usually see the robins
until March. But, like Stephanie, there's been
quite the variety of birds eating from the feeders.
Those hyacinths made it through the snow,
and, several of them will be blooming, in the
next week or so! As for the giant crocus that
I planted in the front, last fall, they haven't
even "peeped", yet.
