Yup, as many predicted Davis is out, and Arnold is in. But will things really change in California? We shall see.

Congrats Arnold!

I wish him the best of luck. Even though he doesn't have any experience in politics (though his wife's family is VERY familiar with it), it's nice to see "new blood" enter the scene.

It's interesting that this makes the second governor that also starred in the "Predator" movie.

I love Arnold in the movies but would not want him as governor. He has no political experience. In reality, how in the world will he know where to begin?

I think that everyone ran for govenor just as a fun "race". I'd really like to see the budget defecit go down, etc. Once I see proof, ill be convinced. But hey, all he has to do is hold a couple dinners and he can raise a couple million right there!

It has happened before... Ronald Reagan was an actor, who became the Governor of California and then of course became President of the United States.

We will see what Arnold Schwarzenegger does as governor of California soon enough. (I understand being born in Austria, he can not run for President.)

For the record, California's 54 electoral votes represents about 10% of the entire country. [The electoral vote total is 538.]

Cold Front,
I know R. R. was an actor years before he became a politician. No offense, but .......

The secret to President Reagan's success was knowing how to pick advisors.

I think Arnold will do the same thing. He's a smart businessman and has handled his finances very well. I hope he does well and I think he will.
