Other than "Silence of the Lambs" (which was OK), I love all of the movies you listed. I never laughed so hard in my life as the first time I saw "The Naked Gun". And "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" has some of the best quotes of any movie.
"Ahh blow mah nose at you so called 'Aahthur Keeng'. You and all your seelly English Kinnnnnnniggits!"

I don't have any SINGLE favorites, but I considered Chevy Chase's "Vacation" antics to be a source of some real deep laughs...and can laugh just thinking about cousin Eddie and his Winnebago in "Christmas Vacation."
Never have a problem laughing at Bill Murray in Stripes, either.
For suspense, Silence of the Lambs still captures my attention. And for sappy stuff, I liked "Officer and a Gentleman." I still think "Titanic" had a nice story line...one that works best on the big screen.
Tom Cruise hit my sons and I at the right time in Top Gun.
Legends of the Fall was a good solid western for me...and gave Brad Pitt a jump start. Always liked Newman and Redford in Butch Cassidy, too. Tombstone was nicely done..Doc Holiday was in such sad shape in that film I was shaking while watching the poor guy.
Braveheart was all about commitment and sacrifice...and ranks right up there too. I'm looking forward to seeing more Schmeigel after Two Towers.
A lot of the Saturday Night Live cast have tried various films, but among them Adam Sandler in The Wedding Singer fit my personality pretty well. John Candy's antics were fun in Uncle Buck...and he gave me some gut laughs in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, too.
For war stories, Platoon's haunting night scenes impressed me more than some others like Blackhawk Down. I did like the HBO series Band of Brothers too.
In the "different" category, I like the simplicity of Rain Man and Forrest Gump.
Movies for and about kids (and adult kids)? Favorites are Goonies and Hook. I think some of the same characters were in both.
And I cannot complete a list with the likes of ET, Poltergeist, the Star Wars trilogy (not so much episode 1) and the likes of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
