I am gay and I am married..not legally because of people who still think we are "evil" and don't deserve the same rights as others. Me and tony pay taxes..live in the same home and are a couple. We have respect for each other and are together for life.We don't have kids and won't adopt because we would never put a child through the hell of trying to explain why that child has two dads..The funny thing is I see all kind of horror storys(not stereotyping) about "normal" straight parents..treating their kids like dirt..truth is I treat my animals better than..some people treat their kids..but because I am GAY.. I am automactically a child molester :roll:

What makes us different from any other couple. The funny thing is like I have said before..I am religous and would give my shirt off my back for my fellow man..yet some of these people quoting the bible use it as a convenience...half of them live in more sin than I supposedly do..now who is a sinner. Before you JUDGE me and my fellow Homosexuals TAKE A LOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG look in the mirror :roll:

I could care less if they call it marriage..same sex union or whatever. I just want the same rights as everyone else :roll:

I also found it funny how the catholic church was against this but was all for letting some of their priests molest kids and move them around when they got caught. Hypocrits. Like I said good and bad in everything.

We all live in Sin in some way or another as defined by the bible some are just better at hiding it. I read the bible and have a strong faith. I pray to god everyday and he answers my prayers..those who judge others are the real sinners :wink:

Rainband, I am Catholic and I did not approve of what those priests were doing. Which I am sure all Catholics did not like that. In my diocese they sent out a questionairre on how to improve the church. I told them they should let the priests get married.

Sorry, but I took offense to the connection.

Never said you did I never said all. I am just trying to defend myself..I shouldn't have to but I do.. I never said the whole catholic church I am catholic too. I guess I am making things uncomfortable trying to give my opinion which obviously isn't popular.

I was raised Catholic. I understood what you meant, Johnathan.

Alot of people, usually news people or non-Catholics use the terms "Catholic church" and "Vatican" interchangably and use them to refer to the Church as a whole. We ought to be offended...but not by Johnathan's comments. We ought to be offended by the blind eye that the Catholic church (meaning the body of cardinals, bishops, and priests) turned towards the sinning priests.

Just because someone is "gay" (pardon that phrase...I very much dislike it) shouldn't give them any less rights than those who prefer someone of the opposite sex. We should be all able to commit to the person we fall in love with...opposite sex...or same sex!

WHAT? My post was made in jest. I am not suggesting anything of the sort. I respect you as a person, so I don't know where you would get the idea that I am trying to suggest that you are not a good Christian.
