Becker udpate - I sent a letter to CBS. I just wanted them to know I didn't appreciate the way the network treated that show. My email will probably fall on deaf ears. But at least I feel better now!

Third Rock! When did that one end? Obviously, it's been a while, but I guess I missed all the pomp and circumstance surrounding the finale. Or was there any? Did it just get cancelled abruptly and never returned to air after a hiatus or did they get a chance to say farewell? And more importantly, HOW did it end?
Sally looked almost exactly like a surgery resident that I liked who worked in the ER for a while. The only difference was her eyes were more like Kirstie Alley's. Never could watch that show without thinking of her. And tall too!

Shawn - 3rd Rock wasn't renewed after it's 5th or 6th season. So they did get to film a 2 part finale. Something about them all going back to their home planet and Mary either willingly went or was whisked back. Read the episode guide I found. Aparently there was a short ending to the last episode that wasn't shown here. And I remember a local TV critic alerting fans to tune in, weeks after the finale aired. Because NBC decided to show it afterall. And I blew it, forgot to set the VCR. What's described in that 10 minute final ending in the last episode isn't what I remember seeing when the finale was originally aired. Again, another network screwed up! My favorite episode was when Dick hurried home after grocery shopping the day before their first Thanksgiving on earth. He said humans were throwing all sorts of things in their carts, as if it was their last day to live, people shoving eachother in aisles, long lines at the check out counter. And then says they were all buying these and throws one on the kitchen table - a frozen turkey. They thought the world was going to end! Hilarious stuff.
