I agree that they can change JQ but I don't see any evidence of it in his voting record. He has a long record of anti defense and anti-intelligence votes. Not to mention that he is rated more liberal that Kennedy. I didn't even think that was possible!

This person voted against the F-16, F-18, B-1, Strategic Defense Initiative, voted to gut our intelligence, gut our Armed Forces..and yet, he brazenly states that he will follow the Clinton lead in "treating terrorists as a law enforcement problem" (?)...the same policy that convinced Al Qaida that the U.S. was weak and would collapse in the face of a massive attack such as that of 9-11-01.

We, the people, cannot afford Kerry's "vision" for our future survival.
I really doubt they thought we'd be defeated by one attack  Everyone knows, the United States is the most powerful nation on the planet, including AlQaida  I do agree we need our military and any cuts to it could be detrimental to the free world. But I really doubt, anyone in our government wether they be Rep or Dem, intentionally did anything to allow terrorists to attack our nation :-?

Yes they did Rainband. They thought that by taking out our economic abilities such as WTC they would weaken us as a nation. Boy were they wrong. All they did was tick us off!!

And by ignoring the African Embassy bombing, WTC bombing and the USS Cole, CIA handcuffing which caused the FBI and the CIA to not share Intelligence is why Sept. 11th happened. And that was while a Dem was in office.

Like I said all the time spent on arguing between dem and rep could be better spent on AMERICANS. In that respect BOTH Reps and dems are wrong and irresponsible IMHO.

I would not say that Bush has been irresponsible with our security. He inherited this problem and kicked behind. Do not understand that part of your thinking.

In another thread I posted my view on How bush has handled our security and I say he has done an excellent job on that front. I think it's the one about Kerry. One of them I mean
