It Also Points Out
that Bush was a total nimrod for not taking out OBL before taking on Iraq.
One Question: Why pick on a perfectly fine Planet like Mars to send those slimes to?

While I'm sure that the White House won't get a phone call warning the President that in one hour we are going to fill in the blank with the weapons of terrorism of your choosing, there have been messages left on websites that have warned that not only the United States but it's allies against terrorism are themselves targets of terrorism. So I think it's hardly surprising that a massive attack was launched on Spain.
What I find pretty hard to digest is that when you think about it, airline travel and airports seem to be the only area that Homeland Security has made any progress when it comes to security. And even that is pretty shaky - I read articles quite often that many of the new screeners who supposedly replaced many of the lax airport workers have not even passed security backgrounds. And that doesn't even touch the cargo areas of airports where I hear that security is almost non-existant.
Our borders are still a huge problem and will continue to remain a problem until the United States gets stricter with it's immigration policies and confronts the problem of people crossing the borders illegally. Our ports are still pretty unprotected; there may be Coast Guard trying to do their job but it's been reported that only a tiny portion of the incoming cargo ships are actually searched. Who knows what some of these ships are carrying? And what's to say that some of these smaller craft aren't carrying people or things that deserve to be well searched?
As I said in another thread, our subway systems and rail systems have not been improved at all. I can jump a train in Okeechobee with a bunch of luggage and not be searched at all. Who's to say that my luggage isn't filled with explosives waiting until I get into a major terminal like Washington, DC or New York City?
I live a mile away from a nuclear power plant here in St Lucie County, Florida. Last time I heard, the "guards" were all Wackenhut employees. How do I know that they have been trained to handle unusual conditions?
I can drive right by the front entrance to the power plant with no problem - it's a public access road known as A1A. Not to mention that it sits on a narrow piece of land between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River, making it that much more vulnerable in my opinion.
I lay awake at night and hear small aircraft flying in the area. Although I don't know how much damage a small airplane could do, I would have thought that after 9/11 that there would have been sanctions put in place to prevent air travel close to any of these kinds of facilities.
No, there have been warnings but like Peter and the Wolf, people continue to let their guard down because they are tired of taking precautions and have nothing come of them. And as Aslkahuna said, we should have finished off Bin Laden immediately after the 9/11 attacks when patriotism was at it's highest, rather than head for Iraq.
And just an aside, Steve Quayle's website (who I think is a bit loony myself) had an article about the price of precious metals today. He made reference that the price of precious metals is expected to drop in the next two or three weeks when news of Bin Laden's capture or death is announced. Now what's that all about?

A co-worker just came back from visiting her grandfather that lives south of Tucson, AZ in a retirement community. She said that he had found when he was walking in the back of his property (he has a big piece of land) that down in a ravine he saw some Mexicans living down there. He's only 30 miles outside the border of Mexico. He's also noticed during his walks (he looks out for his neighbors) that there would be stones sitting on the top of trash cans. What he realized was that the Mexicans were putting them on the top and if they hadn't been moved within the week, that the house was probably empty because the family was away. He always knocks them off.
I know from the stories we've heard from Askahuna (I know I spelled it wrong), Dennis, Steve (Poppysky), DJ and a whole host of others that there is still alot of work to do with the border patrol.

Nothing against you, Stephanie...okay?
I just can't resist posting this from way back after 9/11 when people were trying to decipher all the significance of 9 and 11 and the flight numbers and other things like that.

.Oh my God! How worried should I be? There are 11 letters in the name "David Pawson!"
I'm going into hiding NOW. See you in a few weeks.
Wait a sec ... just realized "YOU CAN'T HIDE" also has 11 letters! What am I gonna do?
Help me!!! The terrorists are after me! ME! I can't believe it! Oh crud*, there must
be someplace on the planet Earth I could hide! But no ... "PLANET EARTH" has 11 letters, too!
Maybe Nostradamus can help me. But dare I trust him? There are 11 letters in "NOSTRADAMUS."
I know, the Red Cross can help. No they can't... 11 letters in "THE RED CROSS," can't trust
them. I would rely on self defense, but "SELF DEFENSE" has 11 letters in it, too! Can
someone help? Anyone? If so, send me email. No, don't... "SEND ME EMAIL" has 11 letters....
Will this never end? I'm going insane! "GOING INSANE???" Eleven letters!! Nooooooooooo!!!!!!
I guess I'll die alone, even though "I'LL DIE ALONE" has 11 letters.....
-- Dave
PS: America itself is doomed! Our Independence Day is July 4th ... 7/4 ... 7+4=11!
PPS: "HORSE MANURE*" has 11 letters also, so don't bother to tell me what this is

Nothing agqainst you either Duck, but......... lol
I think Steph was just refering to the date of the 11th, not the whole hoopla you posted there. (Which I find hilarious). But Steph has a point, there may very well be something to the number 11 in the Al Cruda network. Not that they searched out flight numbers that add to 11 or anything like that. Just the date.

It was meant to be hilarious because of the over-analyzing by some people after 9/11 in regards to numerology.
Like this silliness, which isn't all correct anyway:
Like this silliness, which isn't all correct anyway:
The date of the attack: 9/11 - 9 + 1 + 1 = 11
September 11th is the 254th day of the year: 2 + 5 + 4 = 11
After September 11th there are 111 days left to the end of the year.
119 is the area code to Iraq/Iran. 1 + 1 + 9 = 11
Twin Towers - standing side by side, looks like the number 11
The first plane to hit the towers was Flight 11
But ....There's More.......
State of New York - The 11th State added to the Union
New York City - 11 Letters
Afghanistan - 11 Letters
The Pentagon - 11 Letters
Ramzi Yousef - 11 Letters (convicted of orchestrating the attack on the WTC in 1993)
Flight 11 - 92 on board - 9 + 2 = 11
Flight 77 - 65 on board - 6 + 5 = 11

Yes, there are 912 days, leap day is included obviously, because it was a day.
There were 911 days between Tuesday, September 11th, 2001 and Thursday, March 11th, 2004; which apparently lies the significance for the Al-Qaeda network. Nevertheless, the 11th is the closest (one day off) to the 911 days.
