Well, you have to remember that that thread is under the influence of a lot of alcohol.

Sorry I don't see it that way. All I have seen so far is worthless drivel but to each his own. You have your opinion but I don't share it.

Oh well, opinions will vary. I guess all you can do is pretend that there IS an ignore function instead of spewing your negativity here. Thanks.

This is still a discussion, better than nothing at all.

The subSilver template has an ignore feature, (I use the FI Plain template).

Ok, getting BACK TO THE TOPIC AT HAND.......

I'm also outside at first. My neighbors know if my truck is in the driveway, the weather is either a non-event or another Allison. If my truck ISN'T there, then they best hide inside since I'm out chasing something, and they can pretty much guess what.

And no, it ain't Alec Baldwin, unfortunately.

Well, let's see I go outside at the first snowflake, usually in November, with or without shoes. Forget the coat, it makes it better to just stand there and shiver!!

Rain? I usually like to hole up inside and watch from the windows.

But after first reading your topic, my initial response was
what do I do when it pours rain - why drive to and from Kent State from Cincinnati, 4.5 hours one way. Yes that's what my daughter and I did yesterday. The entire trip was over 12 hours long, add a campus walking tour (in the pouring rain I might add), 2 quick meals and it was one exhausting day. And tense - mostly interstate driving in the pouring, driving rain, I had semi's all around me most of the way. Needless to say today I'm just plain exhausted!!! But a good tired.

Mary -- glad you made it home safe. I hate driving in the rain on the interstate!

A tour of Kent State? Was this for the purpose of scouting out colleges that your daughter wants to attend (which I'm guessing it was)?

Did you guys happen to see the marked-off places in the parking lot and other spots on campus where the victims of the shootings were? I wasn't old enough to really remember it when it happened, but I recall the now-famous news photo of the girl crying over the body of one of the students who had been shot (I now know them as Mary Vecchio and Jeffrey Miller).
