HurricaneGirl/Mary I would like to thank you so much for being are previous host to Weather Jeopardy. I would like to thank you for being such a great friend. And for playing the games with me.
NEWeatherGuy/Brian I would like to thank you for being such a great friend. And I would like to thank you for sharing about Emily, and for Keeping me busy in the games.
I would like to thank the whole moderation group. For keeping this place active and fun to stay in.
And I would like to think the starters of this site Chad and Marshal. Yall have done such a great job and should know that I will continue to support the board in anyway possible.

Garrett - ditto on discussing Days' storylines with you, Kelly and Shawn. I think it will take all four of us to figure this one out. And we can cheat and read the Soapnet boards for more clues along the way!!!
I've noticed Eric's been thanked by others too for referring many of us to Storm2K. I ask you Eric - just how many member do you think you're personally responsible for being members here? I think the number would be quite high! So pat yourself on the back there wx buddy.

Bronwyn..I am in awe of your strength and the depth of your conviction. What great testimony to the family who clearly loves you so much as to give that gift to you...and now you to your own son and daughter. Your challenges must sometimes seem relentless, yet your faith and laughter are the perfect combination to get you through.
Thank you Steve.. It really is strange how we do not see certain things in our characters and others will. You are truly perceptive Steve!!! Thank you for those words Steve, because it really has been a rough ride, and I was starting to admonish myself for not having enough strength to get through immigrating, sometimes it is a very heavy burden to carry. Thank you Steve for giving me a boost of encouragement...

Bronnie, thanks for starting this thread. What beautiful comments from everyone. I started on TWC in June of 2001 after a really sad life experience. The strength and love of many kind people there gave me hope, strength and kindness during some really dark hours. After 9/11 the bonds of friendship just grew stronger.
When we came to Storm2k in February, the same kind and loving group was again at work - supporting, comforting and generally being a family.
I'd like to thank Dennis and David for inviting me here. I have no knowlege of weather topics and yet I have always been accepted here. Thanks to all of you for that.
Chad and Marshall thanks for this home away from home.

Ditto to all of the remarks above and I am sure to many that will come after this.
Storm2k has truly become a second family for many of us with "patriarchs", "matriarchs", "brothers and sisters", even some "moms and dads", and last but not least "LIFELONG FRIENDS"!!!!
I can not shower enough praise on our founders-CHAD AND MARSHALL- for having the VISION and taking the time to make this wonderful site happen and maintaining it as THE BEST ON THE NET!!!

I wish to thank EVERYONE on Storm2K for providing me with a loving, caring and proactive family; it was almost a year ago that the members helped us secure our present apartment, fend off the legal hounds, etc...we will never forget that.
There are SO many special people that I hesitate to mention specific names...you know who you are, and I give thanks and praise to God for your assistance, "just being there", and especially for reading my droning, lapsis liguae posts over the time I've been here.
You have suffered through many trials with me; laughed at the antics of my poogle puppy, Annabelle (she be a ho'), and made Coppertop's room and sock hamper legendary
...clothes, Brach's Wintergreen Lozenges, Rodeo-Chedeski wood plaque, a Heavenly Ham and MEE-chelle's famous candy popcorn have all found their way to us through the WONDERFUL people on Storm2K.
But, most importantly, it is a deep and abiding long-term FRIENDSHIP that you have so freely granted us that has sustained me and mine through ups and downs, thin or flush...and, one cannot have too many FRIENDS.
That is your legacy to me, and to many, many others who prowl our website...and THAT is why you, and Storm2K itself, is unique.
Thank all of you again...
Bill/streetsoldier, with Annabelle (she be a ho')

You're quite welcome, Mary, KC and Garrett.
I've always had a tidy room...while living in lower NY state...my Mom...who was eating lunch at home (this was on Election Day 1987)...anyway, a fella gained forced entry through our back porch door area and made his way upstairs to my folks' bedroom...as far as we know he only stole my Mom's 25th anniversary ring...thank goodness my Mom heard a noise and was on the lower level of the house and she went outside and notified some neighbors!
A fella across the street who was a retired sheriff deputy (he called the police) and he came out of his house with a shotgun and stood guard outside for awhile...meanwhile the suspect took off! My Mom told me later that day about the whole thing and added...Eric, the officer who came to investigate...said that he (the thief) must have not been in your room at all because it looked neat!
