Yes we are. Fortunately I'm not banned because they're are still quite a few people there (though getting fewer by the day) that I still like to chat with.
Yes, Storm2k has tons more to offer. It's funny how alot of us originally came from TWC. It was almost as if we had to get started at TWC first before coming here.

Wow, I was offline most of the day and log on to see this topic. First off, yes j a lot of us are TWC refugees. I think streetsoldier first said that to me and the term fits. And j, didn't know YOU were banned too! Wow. I decided to leave voluntarily after Eric was banned. I was just in absolute shock he was banned, won't go down that road, but it spurred me on to post a good-bye topic. I was polite but to the point when I left. So my account is still active. But I haven't posted since I said see-ya over there. Proud I left now. I do browse a bit, but never on a daily basis as I do now here at Storm2K. I think John is probably envious we all love it here or maybe resentful. I do think it's ironic that Storm2K unvieled their new home page and lots of nice features, and then TWC forums go down. And some are closed, like the baseball one. That makes no sense to me - it's only May 1st!!!
And finally, Chad you do seem to have a way over there in your posts. You come across to me as a former regular poster, still having an active account, and at the same time garnering John's respect, as much as anyone is able to. Hope that makes sense. You just go in and post and ever so innocently add the Storm2K link at the bottom. I crack up everytime you do that!!!

Funny thing about TWC was, at first they just restricted my rights. I could still browse but couldn't post anything. Then I got an e-mail from a friend who said John said that if I e-mailed him that he would re-instate me. Well I never did e-mail him, and shortly thereafter, my IP adress was banned. Thought it was strange since he had stated he was just letting me "cool" off.
Anyway....water over the Dam.

I wonder if John ever lurks around here?
I have an active account there, but I think I have a total of 20 posts or something. I never got involved in the off topic, I only ever read the Tropics and severe weather forums. Not much to read anyway. I posted a few times there and got blasted from someone. So I just stopped posting there.
I also giggle when I read Chads links.

That's right!! Better watch out!!!

I don't really think that TWC cares what happened to their "refugees" and what is happening now. It's a shell of its former self - kind of the way it was when I first started there back in February 2001. It was alot of fun meeting everyone there. It's ashame about what they did - it would've been much more understandable if they handled the whole D-Day differently but, hey, it's their site and they probably have it the way they want it now.

Still chads post has survived at TWC and now he and Marshall are replying to Great one who is crying because he was banned yesterday from storm2k as I spotted his new name when he registered last night.

FYI gang, Tracy and myself were *let go* as mods today by TWC powers that be, something about *down sizing*?????? Tracy and myself were volunteers, not paid, so I don't quite understand the *down sizing* part, AH WELL, just as well, our business is "ROCKIN'" BIG TIME right now, so my time online is very limited. Wonder WTH is going on?????
