I mostly read. I post when I have something to say and sometimes I don't have anything to say. That's why I don't post on every thread.

As far as starting new topics, I'm not a big new topic starter.

I understand, Ed. Sorry for being over critical, friendly response on my part. :D

WidreMann, I can relate to what you mean, but there tends to be something to say in a lot of post.

I will correct myself and say... I do respond to over 50%, but I know it isn't as high as 100%.

I read about 80 % of the new posts...sans the games posts b/c they get repetitive and the same with some of the weather posts. I probably reply to 50% of those i read.

Yes, Ed... Thank you... not critizing you either. I appreciate your undertanding very much. :D

I think if we really didn't think the point of repeating words in the game threads then they would really wouldn't be continuing, such as the "Countries Game" -- a lot of them are (beginning and) ending with "a."

Give and take situation ...

Some days I post more than read, while other days, I read more than post ... so 50/50 sounds reasonable ....

I estimate that I'm running about 25:1, reading vs. posting. That's probably why I'm still a lowly Tropical Storm.

Given that I regularly only visit the News forum, the Greetings forum, this forum, and the Games forum; I'd guesstimate 50-60% of the topics I read I reply to. (note: I do not read every thread)
