Well I know a good one. Just get in a quite room and try to get some sleep. Also it maybe a sign that you need to eat.

the eating thing could be part of it. i started my south beach diet thing again and the first two weeks are hell (purging of carbs and all that...)

I had another one yesterday. Wonder if the cold front had anything to do with it. I do know that the vacant apology I got didnt help, as he started the same rot all over again.

He's going on a business trip on Sunday; i asked if there was any way he could leave early...

and then going to his best friend's place in Arkansas for a week before Christmas. Sure am looking forward to that. Except he volunteered me to attend the office Christmas party which I rarely do since I dont do Christmas... GRRRR

The quiet place sounds nice except he was slamming things around like the egocentric twit he is these days. Bitching and moaning about work but not doing a blasted thing to improve his situation.

Just went to the Doctor on Monday and got my prescription renewed plus 4 more refills!! :D I swear it's the only thing that knocks out my headaches. Motrin Cold and Sinus works well too. Sometimes I take one of each if needed. :)

Add another Florida headache to the count.

I rarely get headaches yet have had a stubborn, semi-nauseating one since Monday, too. I thought I might be catching a sinus infection or the flu, but all that's happening so far is the headache. It's not a migraine (I used to have them in my 20s and 30s).

Excedrin isn't doing a thing for me. That hammer looks quite inviting....

It is the caffiene in the pills, over the counter or whatever, as opossed to the kind you drink.

All I know is that when my daughter started getting migraines when she was young, the doctor recommended a 500 mg tylenol and a coke or drink with caffeine right at the first onset of symtoms. It did help to ward off strong migraines.

Caffine is sometimes used as a stimulant to counteract medication that can cause drowsiness. Regular intake of caffiene on a daily basis (even one cup of coffee a day) becomes addictive. If you miss out your daily caffine intake it can trigger headaches. I found this out when I was preggers and cut out caffiene. I ended up having to have half a coke in the morning, otherwise I ended up with a whopper. Dehydration can also cause headaches......... keep your clear fluid intake up.
