j prayers and thoughts sent your way for a speedy recovery, Wxbuddy! :)

I threw my back out one time (man those muscle spasms were something else!!) while living in se NY state and just helping my Dad under the car hood in our driveway.

Had to see the chiropractor a couple times during my recovery (missed some days of work)...but he fixed me up good as new using a Thompson table! :)

I was thinking the same thing when I first read this thread - I thought j would have thrown his back out from shoveling snow! You thought snowblower, I thought just shoveling - if anyone has had to shovel ICE (what I've been doing for days now), it's murder on your back. You have to do it in stages. It is cool though b/c in our area, kids have built forts and lined driveways with high walls from these huge chunks of ice we'll all shoveling up now.

Yoda.....I think you're right, j has the right personality to be our very own Jon Stewart. Trouble is, I don't think he's a fan of that show (based upon the last election and his vote!) and/or quite possibly has never watched it.

That Bill does...but I'll leave it up to you sunny to figure this one out. My husband is a huge Daily Show fan, so I've watched a few episodes with him. Not enough to know the entire show's format though....although I do know about 'your moment of Zen!".....

And he has to say it twice - j is still raking leaves!!! Okay, got ya mixed up with Mass. for a while there......LOL

Question...were you lifting the riding mower up over a ledge or step in and out of shed? I'm just trying to imagine picking one of these things up!!!

I know, my question/comments are really helping ya feel better j....but hey, you have been compared to Jon Stewart, so it's not all bad!
